WHEN TO CLIMB MOUNT KILIMANJARO.
The best time and month to Kilimanjaro tends to be January, February and September, when the weather is warm, the sky is visible and the risk of rain is minimal. June, July, and august are also favorable though its cold season/winter in Tanzania.
March, June, November or December are rainy seasons making it tougher to climb but with proper preparation one can summit to the top.
THE FULL MOON: Targeting the climb during the full moon period is an interesting choice, as during the nights the visibility improves and the moon dangling directly above makes for a spectacular moment when you’re standing on top of the roof of Africa.
