Day 1: Arusha – Transfer to Serengeti National Park
Your safari begins with a morning departure from Arusha either by road or flight into Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival, you enjoy a scenic afternoon game drive as you head toward your lodge or tented camp.
During the drive, you may spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and predators such as lions and cheetahs. The vast golden plains offer excellent photography opportunities. Dinner and overnight at your camp in the Serengeti.
Day 2: Hot Air Balloon Safari & Full-Day Game Drive
Very early in the morning, you are transferred to the balloon launch site for your hot air balloon safari over the Serengeti. As the sun rises, you float above the savannah, observing wildlife from a unique aerial perspective including herds of wildebeest, elephants, and predators moving below.
After landing, you enjoy a special bush breakfast in the wild. Later, you continue with a full-day game drive exploring different sections of the park, searching for the Big Five and seasonal wildlife movements. Dinner and overnight at your lodge or camp.
Day 3: Full-Day Serengeti Wildlife Exploration

Day 5: Morning Game Drive – Return to Arusha
After breakfast, you enjoy a final early morning game drive, giving you one last chance to spot predators and enjoy the sunrise over the Serengeti plains.
Later, you transfer back to Arusha by road or flight. Upon arrival, you are dropped at your hotel or airport, marking the end of your unforgettable 5-day Serengeti hot air balloon safari.
